Captain Karl Broadnax was a 24th century Starfleet officer. By the 2340s, Broadnax was in command of the USS Wyoming. A man with a reputation for strongheadedness and a confrontational attitude. Broadnax eaned the nicknames "Broadsword" and "Battleaxe" from members of his crew, but none ever uttered them in his hearing.
