Particle weapons have a medium rate of fire, good range and punch, but use up quite a bit of power per shot. All Particle weapons have a fire rate of 4.0 SP, and are most effective against Graviton shields. As such, you may want to switch to Particle weapons when taking on factions that prefer Graviton shields, like Liberty or Kusari. Particle weapons are less effective against Molecular shields.
