The makers of SNL have produced many "The Best of..." specials that showcase their favorite moments of the show's former cast members and frequent hosts. One special, The Best of Halloween, compiles favorite Halloween-related sketches the show has produced. These specials air in SNL's 11:30 timeslot, and have aired on E! and Comedy Central. Most of the specials were released on DVD and video.
