"Fubar" was an R2 astromech droid assigned to Hobbie Klivian during the later years of his time with Rogue Squadron. After his retirement, Hobbie bought the droid from the New Republic, and retained ownership of it till about halfway through the Yuuzhan Vong War. Hobbie and Fubar both died in the Second Battle of Garqi, despite Hobbie's attempts to convince the droid to eject from their doomed starfighter.
