Dr. Amadeus Sharp is a distinguished older gentleman with short white hair and a recently-grown white beard. His glasses, tweed suit, and blue bow tie give him a very professorial look, and even with his advanced age he continues to sparkle with intelligence and wit. When at home he prefers to move around in a flying chair; when out and about he usually walks with an elegant wooden cane.
