This class of Tholian starship was in service to the Tholian Assembly during the late-23rd century and early-24th century. Their design, while similar to the Spinner-class, was atypical of Tholian starship design by having a bi-lateral instead of tri-lateral symmetry. Around the turn of the 2300s, a fleet of fifteen of these starships were headed for the Federation colony on Mirabi 5 in order to "remove" the colonists. They were headed off by the USS Excelsior under the command of Captain Hikaru Sulu. (Captain's Log comic: "Sulu")
