Ukitake is the captin of the 5th Division of the secret organization called Underworld Government, responsible of supervising other Divisions and coordinating between them and also capturing and eliminating anyone who betrays the organization, he works under the leader of the oranization and the captin of the 1st division Marshall D. Nicolas and takes orders from him. Ukitake has eaten a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit called Suteru Suteru no Mi.
