Doris Morgan was a character in DEXTER. She was Debra's biological and Dexter's adoptive mother, who died of cancer when Debra was 12. She is seen briefly in a flashback in Season 1, seen for a picture that is replicated by the The Ice Truck Killer, and another episode urging her husband to contact Dexter's biological father for a blood transfusion, again in another flashback in Season 2, suggesting that Dexter be tested by a psychologist, and finally in Season 7, a flashback showing the Morgans getting a puppy causing Harry Morgan to demand Doris return the puppy fearful that Dexter might do harm to it.
