V. 1 has elastic or drawstrings inserted in casing. When elastic is used a self tie belt is worn over it. For 54" fabric there is no tie belt and dress is worn with drawstrings or with purchased belt over elastic. V. 2 has elastic at waistline and self or purchased belt.
