A medic booth was a medical device used in the mid 23rd century aboard starships without medical personnel. It was a computer operated unit which could heal injuries such as broken bones, but required days of recuperation time. The RRV Queen Mary had a medic booth aboard, and it was used by Lasslanlin after he had been beaten in a bar fight by Hikaru Sulu and Pavel Chekov. (TOS novel: Prime Directive)
