The story takes place directly after Clarissa and Charizard's petrification, with Xerneas fleeing when she fails to restore them. Katrina and Mason are visibly upset and decided to go on a journey to restore their friend. Jax Darksoul, a rival and close friend to Clarissa, decides to join them on their quest. The trio's first idea is to have Katrina's Diancie restore her but to no advil, she is still to weak. Jax decides that their must be another Diancie out there and begins to search for her.
