Czerka Arms seems to have began circa 4,000 BBY as Czerka Corporation under the leadership of Pollard Seario. During the Jedi Civil War, it was allied with the Sith. It was known for questionable business practices, often maintaining large armies of mercenaries and forcing entire star systems to accept less than fair contracts. It survived for thousands of years, becoming a model for younger super-corporations and trade guilds such as the Trade Federation.
