Novor 33 was an uninhabitable Outer Rim planet in the Novor system that orbited further from the system's star, Novor Major, than any of the other thirty-two planets there. The planet's position saved it from destruction when Novis Major evolved into a red giant: it expanded exponentially and engulfed the first seventeen worlds. That event reclassified the thirty-third world as the sixteenth.
