Although it was Regius who trained him ninja techniques, apparently he surpassed Regius in terms of information gathering skill. Regius briefly mentioned that he have an information gatherer working for him, but Gizellega is only formally introduced to Hero and the party after they found him surrounded by Scarlet Axe men, chasing after him because he was found out trying to spy on Rochelle's secret meeting with an Aionian official.
