First appearance: Sprite: The Short-fused Bomb (せっかちボム, Hasty Bomb, in Japan) is a type of bomb that appears in Bomberman Quest. When a Clock is fused with an Explosive Core in the Bomb Workshop, there is a chance that the resulting bomb may be a Short-fused Bomb. It explodes in a cross shape. Whereas normal bombs explode after having pumped up three times, the Short-fused Bomb will explode after having pumped up only twice. It may be used to attack more quickly, or to catch the opponent off-guard in the Battle Game.
