Ka'a Beach is a location on the island of Kauai in the state of Hawaii, on the planet Earth, noted for its beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. When Spock was ordered by USS Artemis Captain Daniels to take a mandatory shore leave, Spock chose to follow a suggestion of his mother and walk barefoot at a beach, and chose Ka'a Beach. It was at this location that Spock received a summons from Sarek that he should return to Vulcan to tend to his affairs.
