Toni is introduced as a nanny for the twins after Melodie Richarme leaves Foxworth Hall and her family to continue dancing. While initially attracted to Bart Foxworth in the beginning, she discovers his ruthless behavior and how easily angered he can get, she decides she doesn't love him and begins a relationship with Jory, falling in love with him later on. At the end of the story, she and Jory are married and expecting their first child while still taking care of the twins.
