The Veles-class starship was a vessel employed by the Romulan Star Empire that was operational in the 24th century. The Veles could be described as the protector of the Romulan fleet mainly due to a unique cloak projector that emanated from the vessel and would encompass a fleet. This essentially enhanced the cloaking ability of a fleet, allowing it to remain in such a state without a drain on power reserves. It was armed with four banks of plasma torpedoes as well as an array of disruptors which made it quite a formidable foe in battle. (TNG video game: Armada II)
