King John of England (24 December 1166 – 18/19 October 1216) was a human political leader on Earth who ruled England from 1199 until his death in 1216. As King, John was involved in disagreements with Pope Innocent III and various members of the Enlgish nobility. In 1215, John was forced to sign the Magna Carta - one of the first steps in human history towards the development of constitutional law on Earth. (TOS novelization: Court Martial)
