The Scrantones is a musical group credited for performing the theme music for The Office. The group consists of Bob Thiele (guitar, aka "Joey Scrantone") and his friends Dillon O'Brian (piano), Brian Macleod (drums) and Hal Cragin (bass). The group was unnamed at the time they recorded the theme, one week before the premiere. When the band reappeared in the episode Booze Cruise, they had dubbed themselves "The Scrantones."
