Doran Vess was a male Human Rebel Alliance Specforce operative and, later, Jedi Knight of the New Jedi Order. Noted for his bravery, fearlessness and ruthlessness, Doran excelled in the Alliance Special Forces early on and was a candidate for high-profile infiltration, sabotage and assassination missions. For years, he spied upon and combated the Galactic Empire. Following the deaths of Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader during the Battle of Endor, Doran worked as a spy for the budding New Republic.
