Asthma Mom is the mother of Asthma Boy, one of the clinic patients in the episode Pilot. She was portrayed by actress Maya Massar. Her son's symptoms were getting somewhat worse. House asked if her son was regularly using his inhaler, but she wasn't letting him use it because she was afraid of the effect the powerful steroids would have on her son. Dr. House tried to explain that her doctor must have balanced the danger of steroids with the danger of not breathing. However, he gave up and told her that if she didn't trust steroids, she shoudn't trust doctors.
