Robert Bailey was a character that appeared at the start of the eighth season in DEXTER. Robert was the first victim of The Brain Surgeon in Season Eight, having been kidnapped five days prior to his death. He was killed by a gunshot injury to the chest (at close range, indicated by the markings on the wound), and then had his brain cut open and a portion excised (the anterior insular cortex), afterward being dumped in a public area for the police to find. The murder weapon was left discarded in a bush not far from the crime scene.
