Honor Mayhew (born early 1908 PD ) was a Grayson citizen and the fourth child of Protector Benjamin IX. Born to Elaine Mayhew, the Protector's second wife, Honor was named after Steadholder Honor Harrington, a close friend and ally of her parents, who was also her godmother. (HH8) She suffered a broken arm in a fall from the tallest tree at the Protector's Palace when she was seven, an event that appalled the more conservative elements of Grayson society. (HH9)
