Darren is mostly interested in food and entertainment. He has the same facial structure as Oliver Phelps, a local burglar. In addition to treating gardens, and caring for the plants of some of Strangetown's citizens, Darren may sometimes pass through community lots. He is the only gardener in Strangetown that does not have dyed hair.
