The Race Bots are a group of vehicle-like robots designed and programmed by Ivo Robotnik to destroy the racers, including Sonic, Tails and Professor Caninestein, and win the 10,000 Mobium prize money in the Mobius 5000 race. Like most of Robotnik's loyal robots, they aim to please their creator and desire personal recognitions.
