The JTK2S features a mahogany body with a split pickguard bolted to a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard with offset triangle position markers. Components include dual Ibanez P-90 style single coil pickups and the Full Tune III fixed bridge. The JTK2 is a similar model with a pair of humbucking pickups. The JTK2S was offered only in Japan and was discontinued after 2007. It was replaced for 2008 by the quite similar JTK3.
