The character Charlie, played by Charlie Day was in a band with characters Mac, played by Rob McElhenney, and Frank Reynolds, played by Danny DeVito in Its Always Sunny. The band was known as both Chemical Toilet, and The Pecan Sandie's. After realizing that Charlie was not the direction the band wanted to go in, Dennis, played by Glenn Howerton was asked to join the group. Soon after both Dennis and Charlie were asked to leave the group.
