The fighting for Isabella begins as soon as they exit their houses. Phineas and Buford both leave their houses with flowers for Isabella. Seeing each others gifts, they try to outdo each other with bigger and better gifts. Phineas finally throws a weight on Buford’s head to get rid of him. In addition to tricking Buford on the swing, Phineas pretends to kiss Buford by using a plunger and hitting him on the head. He continues tricking Buford by painting a bomb to look like Isabella.
