Bahira Ababneh was the daughter of Abdullah Smith who was taken in the Rapture along with her brother Zaki and her mother, who became a believer. Both Bahira and Zaki were children when they were raptured, and returned as young adults. She became one of the founding members of the Millennium Force, seeking to counter the growing influence of The Other Light.
