In Crush Gear Turbo, Garuda Phoenix is Kouya's second Gear following the destruction of Garuda Eagle, the Gear that used to belong to his late brother, Yuhya Marino. It is one of the strongest Gear of the series and one of the few Gears that would rival Gaiki in terms of power and speed during its launch. In Crush Gear Nitro, Garuda Phoenix is used by Crush Kid, a superhero who often settling disputes among people in the town by Gear Fighting.
