The dragon sword is a powerful one handed weapon that can be bought from Sarak's Exceptional Shortswords for 100,000gp; but it can also be obtained as a rare drop from Nechryaels, Spiritual mages, Abyssal demons, Dark beasts and Ice strykewyrms. It requires attack level 60 to wield. Its cheap price and lack of a Quest requirement make it a popular weapon for players who have just reached 60 Attack. As with all dragon equipment (Except sq shield, platebody and kiteshield), this item CANNOT be made with the Smithing skill.
