Shadow Scavengers is Runescape's newest minigame, released with The Son of Shadows. It involves searching a preset area for Shadow Tokens, a stackable currency scatted through the world during the Third Age. Their are 9 different areas of varying difficulties, each one lasting 20 minutes and having 100 times the difficulty number Shadow Tokens.
