Mark Eddy Smith is a graphic designer at InterVarsity Press and an author, who has written books on the worldviews of J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis as seen through their fantasy literature. In 2002 he wrote Tolkien's Ordinary Virtues and A Closer Look at The Lord of the Rings.
