The road to Hogwarts is a rough mud track that leads through the Forbidden Forest in the mountains surrounding Hogwarts Castle. The track starts at Hogsmeade Station and ends at the Entrance Gates, where it becomes the entrance footpath. Somewhere along the road, there's a bifurcation leading to Hogsmeade Village. The path is used at the start and end of every school year by the Hogwarts carriages, and during the school year for trips to Hogsmeade.
