Fyron Pucebuckle was a noted Archmage and Illusionist of Cliffport (one of at least five other wizards of the same name there) and winner of at least one Wizzie award. Eugene Greenhilt became his apprentice and bonded with him more than he ever did with his own father even after their cooperation ended. One Wednesday in spring, Xykon saw Fyron's "badass" looking crown in a tour Fyron was giving. Taking it from him, the two engaged in a duel in which Eugene tried to help, though Xykon trapped him in a force bubble. Eugene swore an Oath of Vengeance to hunt Xykon.
