It was popular with members of the Galactic Senate of the Republic during the debate over a military budget bill early in the Clone Wars, consumed during meetings, small conferences, and celebrations. The wine became subject of investigation after the Rodian politician, Onaconda Farr was killed by poison that had been mixed into a bottle of Domaine de la Maison sur le Lac.
