Robin Schildnecht, born December 24, 1953, is a former NASCAR driver from Louisville, KY. He competed in two Nextel Cup Series events in his career. Both came in 1977, when Schildnecht raced his own car at two tough short-tracks. His debut came at Richmond International Raceway in the spring. Starting 29th in the thirty-car field, Schildnecht completed 227 of the 245 laps in route to a respectable 21st place finish. Looking to improve upon that later in the year at North Wilkesboro Speedway, Schildnecht qualified better in 24th. He would also have a better finish, completing 354 of the 400 laps in route to a career-better 15th place finish.
