At three years old, Jasmine told her mother she wanted to be an actor; and not only an actor, but "a good actor" (sic). She began taking acting classes at Dee Wallace Stone's studio. Her first acting job was opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in the 2002 film Catch Me If You Can. She is an animal lover; she and her family own a horse, cats, dogs, parrots, and two lizards.
