Janice is secretly pleased when her boiler breaks down again giving her an excuse to call Roger the plumber back. The consultant explains to Violet and Jamie that she's had an ectopic pregnancy. Violet realises she may never be able to have children. As Jason struggles to look after Holly, Sarah explains to him that although having children is hard work it's worth it for the joy they bring. Jason's not convinced. Liam's shocked to discover that Paul's his new partner having bought Danny out of his share of Underworld. Paul admits it cost him a lot of money including the money he'd put aside for Carla's new business. Whilst Roger mends Janice's boiler, Janice pops out to get them fish and chips and a bottle of wine but she's disappointed to return home and finds he's already gone. It's Carl
