In Pirates of the Caribbean Online, there are various News Pop-Ups that appear throughout the course of the game. These pop-ups inform players of currently transpiring events as soon as they log on, or as soon as they switch servers. News Pop-Ups generally inform players of any Boss Battles, Holidays, or Events that are occurring in the game currently. Players can check what events are currently transpiring, and how long they will last at any given time. Simply type /holiday or /event in the game's chat window to see a list of all the currently transpiring events.
