Glen Keane was born in Abrington, Pennsylvania USA, April 13 1954. He is Disney's best known animator. In 1987 when he did a non-Disney movie called The Chipmunk Adventure, Glen did the characters of Alvin and the Chipmunks and the Chipettes and animated the musical number of "Boys and Girls of Rock N' Roll". During production of The Rescuers Down Under (1990), The studio hired a real eagle to model the character Marahute. During production in Beauty and the Beast (1991), Keane felt that the Beast was a difficult character to animate. He described the character a mix between a Bull, Bear, Lion, Wolf, and a Gorilla.
