When the torso was destroyed, the Robot Control Units left it and attacked Ratchet. Sometimes, the Robot Control Unit was destroyed along with the torso. They shot 2 laser slugs from each of their arms. They had a higher power rate than a Vacationing Robot and Scuttle Crab. The Guard Torsos were first found on Pokitaru, while they were trying to kidnap Luna. They were later seen on planet Kalidon, guarding the Technomite robot factory.
