Illyrica was a planet in the vicinity of Zoave Twilight by way of Vega Station and somewhat in the vicinity of the Union of Free Habitats. It had a high technological base, and was known to produce war ships and biochips. The Ariel was Illyrican-built, as were the three ships that were given to the Dendarii Free Mercenary Fleet in return for them giving three ships to Vega Station. Simon Illyan's memory chip was also of Illyrican design. Note: Illyrica has not been visited in the books themselves.
