The Deadlands is referred to by many as the blasted Dead Lands. No creatures seem to exist here. There are no birds in the skies, no buzzing insects, no scurrying lizards on the broken fragments of rock, not even a straggly plant clinging to life in a rock crevice. These lands were destroyed and made devoid of life during the Great War against Chaos. They represent the northernmost reaches of the destruction. Some consider them part of the Wastes of Chaos.
