The Beast of Gevauden is a legendary creature that stalked the forests of 18th century France in the 2001 French film, Brotherhood of the Wolf. The Creature Shop supplied a six-foot animatronic version of the character, operated by hydraulics. This animatronic puppet was digitally scanned and used by the Creature Shop for CG animated shots as well. John Stephenson and Peter Elliott served as supervising animators for these scenes.
