When combined with associated fūinjutsu, such as the Explosive Tag Sealing Technique and Fire Sealing Method, practitioners are able to modify their use of this technique. With the former the user is able to infuse an opponent's store of explosive tags with fiery surprise that can detonated at will. Conversely, combining this technique with the latter sealing method makes it possible to seal another person's fire techniques into one or more explosive tags, simultaneously defending against an opponent's attack and amplifying the user's damage potential.
