The Klingon Medical Division was the Klingon government agency involved with the biological research and treatment of Klingons. In 2368, after Worf was injured in an accident aboard the USS Enterprise-D, Doctor Beverly Crusher contacted this division. She learned from them that in cases where a patient suffered neurological trauma, the medical staff usually let the patient die. As a result, there was almost no research into this type of trauma.
