Yoshimura Takika is the father of Yoshimura Makoto, and the man who purchased Zero as a pup. At the time, Takika had a trained tosa and an ongoing rivalry with the Anzai family, who had Unryū. When Makoto expressed interest in training his own tosa fighting dog, Takika promised to get him one. However, while drunk, he bought a wolf puppy instead. Realizing his mistake too late, Takika disguised the puppy as a tosa and gave it to Makoto, who named it Chibi.
