Holding the rank of Commodore, he was in command of Tenth Fleet's Destroyer Squadron 301, on duty in the Talbott Quadrant. He was ordered to take his squadron to the New Tuscany System, and was killed when Admiral Josef Byng of the Solarian League Navy had his ship destroyed during the New Tuscany Incident. (SI2)
